My name is Allie.
I have over a decade of clinical experience working with couples and individuals. I received my training at Columbia University and continue my analytic coursework with Metropolitan Institute for training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.
I intentionally keep my practice small. This allows for focus, consistency, and the kind of careful attention that depth-oriented work requires.
Outside my clinical work, I’m shaped by a longstanding relationship with New York City and its cultural life, particularly theater and dance, which continue to inform how I think about emotional expression, conflict, and connection. When possible, I spend time in the Hudson Valley, where the pace allows for reflection and perspective. I’m an animal lover — especially dogs and cats — and I’m also a mother, an experience that has deepened my understanding of attachment, responsibility, and the complexities of caring for others over time as you put your needs second. These aspects of my life quietly inform my work, keeping it grounded, relational, and human.
